Going from a brand new DotNetNuke installation to handing over the admin rights to a new client.
1. Login as host. 2. Delete all modules on the home page. 3. Goto>Admin>File Manager and delete all graphic files in the root menu (do not delete the CSS file). 4. Goto>Host>Host Settings and put in your SMTP Server Settings. 5. Create an account on the portal and make yourself the admin. 6. Invite the client to register (you'll receive an email if the SMTP settings are correct). 7. Goto>Admin>Security Roles, and grant the client admin rights on the portal. 8. Add a text/HTML module to the home page. 9. Call up the client and get them to login as admin. 10. Get the client to "Edit Text" and update.
Viola, your portal is ready to be handed over...
